We wake up the morning and like every days the breakfast was the first thing that we've done. Then, i began to work a bit while my parents and Julie were packing up. We got out of the camping ground at nine thirty and we went to the first gorges.
The first one was like others, a pretty big pool with a nice waterfall but not a lot of place to sit. We didn't stay for a very long time because we didn't want to swim so we went back quickly...

It was really pretty but we didn't want to swim because there was a little swamp, so we didn't know if there were crocodiles. We have to be careful during our trip in the north because we will soon have salties witch are seven meters long and very aggressive!!!!
We drove an hour more and we ate close to the waterfall, we walked up to the gorges and went trough rocks and tall grasses and we had to make noises because of snakes (north of australia is the place where there are the biggest population of most dangerous snakes in the world)...
Talking about that, when we were walking, there was a snake on the path, it was not a python so we thought that it might be dangerous and when we asked the rangers, he told us that it was the most dangerous snake in the world, the "Taipan", he also told us that it was very rare to see one...!!!!

Its back was very dark and its belly was clear, it has the most painful venom in the world!!!! aïe aïe aïe :)
After that nice meeting we arrived in a lovely place with, again a waterfall and places to jump so that was, again amazing!!!! We jumped from rocks and the water was perfect, not to cold and not to hot!!!!
The only problem is that there were a lot of spiders but we haven't been bitten by ones, we haven't been bitten by the snake too and haven't by crocodiles, ouf!!!! What a country... ; )
We drove an hour more in the dust and in gravel tracks of the Gibb River Road to go to the next camping and we had a break of one night before we go up to Michel Falls!!!!
